What is the eLead Referral Engine?
It's a lead generation and nurturing system run by Christopher Lotte that connects eXp agents with engaged real estate consumers in the counties they serve. My network of real estate websites generates approximately 20-30 new buyer, seller, new-construction and other real estate leads a day. We nurture those consumers, and when one is ready to talk to an agent, we make a warm introduction to a participating agent.
Where do the leads come from?
From my network of real estate websites, including LocalRealEstateOnline.com, IDX home search and search engine traffic. Consumers register to search homes, ask about a property, look at new construction, request a home value or ask about financing and down payment help.
How is this different from buying internet leads?
Leads aren't forwarded the moment they register. Consumers go into ongoing email and text nurture campaigns that share helpful information, encourage engagement and learn about their needs. You get the opportunity when a consumer responds and is ready to talk to an agent - a warmer hand-off with a clear reason to follow up, not an untouched name and phone number.
What does it cost?
There's no charge to apply for referrals. A referral fee applies only to transactions that close from a referred lead: 30% on sales of $100,000 and up and 20% on sales under $100,000, documented through the applicable internal eXp referral agreement. If a referral doesn't close, there's no referral fee.
Who can apply for referrals?
Licensed eXp Realty agents who actively serve counties in Ohio or Florida. Not with eXp yet? Check "Not yet" on the form so we can talk about how the referral program works for agents who make the move to eXp.
I'm not with eXp Realty yet. Can I still apply for referrals?
Yes - send the form and check "Not yet". Because referrals run through eXp's internal referral agreement, participating agents are with eXp Realty. The Why Join eXp page covers the commission split, cap, revenue share, stock awards, coaching and what joining with Chris looks like.
How are referrals matched to agents?
When a lead is ready to speak with an agent, the opportunity is matched with a participating agent based on location (the counties you serve), availability and fit. Agents who keep their referrals updated in the CRM stay in the lead rotation.
What's expected of me when I get a referral?
Reach out quickly, then keep the referral current in the CRM: the Pertinent eLead Updates (a few quick questions), the status and your next step. That keeps Chris and the lender in the loop, protects the client experience and keeps you in the rotation.
What is the Conversion Score?
Every referral gets a Conversion Score out of 100 based on how far it has progressed and how complete its updates are. Your average score puts you on the referral leaderboard - a simple way to see who's moving referrals toward the closing table.
What is the New Builds search engine?
A search engine of active new-construction communities across Ohio, with every community on a map, prices and availability refreshed daily from the builders' websites, and filters for region, county, builder, price, home type and school district - plus a statewide builder directory. It's built into the CRM for participating agents.
Do my buyers have to use the Premier Lender?
No. Buyers are always free to choose any lender. The Clarkson Team at Lower.com is available to every referral and is built into the CRM, so if a buyer isn't a cash buyer or already pre-approved, you can share them with one tap and see their lender status as it changes.
What areas are covered today?
Ohio and Florida. The engine started in Columbus, expanded to Cleveland and the Florida coast, and is growing county by county - Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo and more. Pick every county you actively serve so we can match you as leads come in.
Is this an eXp Realty program?
No. The eLead Referral Engine is independently operated by Christopher Lotte and is not an eXp Realty corporate program. Referrals are documented through eXp's internal referral agreement.
Does applying for referrals guarantee I'll get them?
No. Submitting the form is an initial expression of interest and does not guarantee acceptance, referral volume or closings.
I'm already in the program - how do I sign in?
Use Agent Login at the top of this page. Enter the email Chris has on file and you'll get a sign-in link - no password needed. The link in any referral text or email signs you in too.
